The Behavioral Medicine Clinic’s (BMC) nationally recognized treatment programs are run by a skilled team of caring, knowledgeable, experienced specialists who receive input from physicians, nurses, behavioral psychologists, and rehabilitation specialists to meet the unique clinical needs of each patient.

The BMC provides both research and non-research treatment programs for many of the most common pain disorders. When research programs are available, eligible patients may enroll and receive treatments free of charge.

Pain that lasts beyond the normal healing time of three to six months is called chronic pain and is not typically relieved by standard medical treatments.
